Timberline Styled Shoots with Harper Grace Photo

Having other creatives that you can create with is a huge blessing. You find 2 types of people in this industry. The ones who are all about community and the ones who are all about competition. When you find the ones who are all about community, hold on tight and don’t let them go!! I have dealt with some that are all about competition and it can be very discouraging.

Back in September I got to attend the Salt workshop put on by the fabulous Casi Yost. Here is where I finally realized there are others in this industry that want you to succeed. We got to take photos of a little styled shoot Casi put together, headshots of each other, and some flat lays. At this workshop I met so many wonderful ladies that all want community over competition. We all want to build each other up, create together, share tips and tricks, and just have fun doing something we love.

A few months after the work shop Elle asked if there was anyone who would want to do a styled shoot at Timberline. Of course I said yes and instantly was so pumped to see what she had in mind. This girl creates magic!!

To say I was blown away by what she put together is an understatement. She had two amazing couples that modeled for us. She put together every detail and allowed us to come along for the fun.

Our first couple was Chelsea & Mike. This was a edgy, romantic vibe. She wore a beautiful black dress that blew in the wind so elegantly. Several gold jewlery pieces from Nashelle Jewelry, hair by Kelsey with k.and.co bridalstyling and her makeup done by Kate with Kate Hana Artistry. These two were so fun to capture. No matter what crazy cues us photographers threw at them, they rocked it. They were on fire, even though they were freezing!!

Our second couple was a newly engaged couple, Gabby & Ben. You could feel the love radiating from them a mile away!!! They were so fun and playful with each other. She wore a beautiful red velvet dress with several silver jewlery pieces from Nashelle Jewelry and makeup done by Kate. We had a beautiful view of the mountains behind them while the sun was setting.

These sessions really got my creative juices flowing for the year!! I can’t thank Elle, Kate, Kelsey, and models enough for putting this together and all the other wonderful photographers I got to hang out with that day!!!
